Baja Son Growers’ Stewardship

A part of our promise to our customers and consumers, is that we look for new and innovate ways to use less water and preserve our land, our natural resources, and our employees. To that end we use drip irrigation for the majority of our growing operations.

Our water recycling operation turns water from processing into potable water. This potable water is then used as an alternative land-use source to fight erosion, and better care for the land.

With an initiative started last year, we successfully transitioned 90% of onion acreage to drip irrigation. On average, we save 215,000 liters of water per week by implementing this water management system.
